Eastern Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking an Eastern Regional Sales Manager ideally based in Atlanta, South or North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, or Baltimore/D.C. to manage the Eastern region. The candidates will sell direct to end-user customers and grow sales through a network of distributors and representatives. These positions offers opportunities to grow sales and introduce new products to the market. Sales experience in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), telecommunications, stationary/industrial batteries and/or power utility market a plus.


Sales Responsibilities :
· Help outline & implement plans to achieve territory sales goals
· Work with Director of Sales North and South America to implement major account strategies/support
· Work with Product Management team on product development needs
· Work with marketing department to help outline and implement regional promotional, advertising, trade show and public relations needs and plans
· Support all sales & marketing initiatives
· Regularly report on the status of activities

Qualifications :
· Minimum 3 years of field sales experience
· Some sales experience in the telecommunications, power utility, UPS or battery industry
· Willingness to travel within assigned region minimum of 50% to 75%
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical aptitude
· Proficient with MS Word™, Outlook™, Excel™ and PowerPoint™

Account Manager Automotive OEM (the Netherlands)

This position is based out of our European office in the Netherlands.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this position will have sales account responsibility for Midtronics’ battery testing and diagnostic charging lines to dedicated OEM Customer base in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. As the Account Manager for the automotive OEM segment, you will assist in the sales responsibility to drive future growth in this segment. You will have direct sales responsibility for dedicated OEM customers in Europe. Responsibilities will include working directly with key executives of major OEMs to focus on their needs by understanding battery related issues and to work with (special) tool distribution channels in outlining growth-oriented strategies to penetrate the automotive OEM market. Working in conjunction with the product management team at Midtronics, you will assist in developing key strategies for continued product and sales growth into these markets. For the right candidate, this position offers substantial growth.

Required skills

• Minimum of 10+ plus years sales experience directly working in the European automotive business. OEM sales experience in parts or equipment is highly rated.

• A documented history of sales growth in the automotive parts/aftermarket/equipment/OEM in Europe.

• Experience with value proposition selling strategies with growth focus is a must.

• Willingness to be directly involved in all customer sales activities.

• Experience in working both distribution, as well as direct customer sales.

• Technical, Business, Sales Management BA/BS degree preferred

• Automotive engineering education is highly rated.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Dutch English, German. French, Italian will be highly rated.

• Up to 50% overnight travel might be required
