Willowbrook, Illinois - November 2, 1999: Midtronics, Inc. launched its new inCHARGE Battery Analzyer / Charger at the APAA trade show this week in Las Vegas. With inCHARGE, batteries can be safely fast-charged and tested in 40 minutes or less, with the majority in less than 20 minutes. The most accurate battery analyzer / charger available today, the inCHARGE features patented RTD™ (Real-Time Diagnostics) testing technology.
Real-Time Diagnostics During Fast Charging
Using RTD technology, the inCHARGE continuously monitors the battery with conductance tests during the fast-charging session. Primary current, secondary current, charging current, temperature, state-of-charge and state-of-health of the battery are monitored continuously. This real-time diagnostic evaluation eliminates risk of damage to the battery, commonly associated with other fast charging alternatives.
After battery analysis is completed, the comprehensive, battery-testing algorithm programmed into the inCHARGE will display one of two decisions, either "Good Battery" or "Replace Battery." The inCHARGE is 100% decisive – the user does not need to interpret data. The inCHARGE makes everyone an expert. |

 | Warranty Policy Enforced
With the inCHARGE, warranty costs are reduced, as good batteries will no longer need to be returned to the manufacturer -- at the distributors’ and dealers’ expense. In addition, the inCHARGE features software written specifically for encrypted warranty test codes. The test code is used to ensure that processes are being followed and to track warranty cause and expense. Further, customer satisfaction increases as battery condition is determined in minutes, rather than hours.
inCHARGE’s user-friendly interface reflects the overall design of all of Midtronics’ equipment. The LCD screen prompts the technician through the steps necessary to charge and test the battery, displaying the definitive results of the testing.
Midtronics, the recognized leader in battery management technology, has revolutionized the battery testing industry with products using its unique, patented conductance technology. Midtronics’ equipment is designed to be safe and simple to use, while providing an accurate diagnosis in seconds. Headquartered in Willowbrook, IL, Midtronics is completely focused on research and development of the latest battery testing and charging technology available.
