 | Charlotte, NC - July 12, 2000: The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing today announced an agreement with Midtronics to join the elite group of manufacturers in the NASCAR-licensed automotive aftermarket program.
In an agreement that runs through March 2002, select Midtronics battery chargers and testers will now display the distinction of being “NASCAR Officially Licensed.” Midtronics, a world leader in battery management technology, manufactures battery chargers, battery analyzers, and electrical system analyzers used in the automotive aftermarket and battery management systems for major battery resellers and vehicle OEMs worldwide.
“We are very proud to have Midtronics join our aftermarket program following its purchase of the Exide charger division,” said Steve Boguski, NASCAR’s managing director of marketing. “They have been a major supplier of chargers and testers to the aftermarket for more than15 years and now will be able to expand its offerings to include a NASCAR Officially Licensed line of products.”
