 | Willowbrook, IL. – March 28, 2001: Midtronics today announced the sale of new battery analyzers to Volkswagen’s Mexico Division as part of their new battery warranty management program. The program, aimed at reducing warranty expense and improving customer service, will require dealers to use Midtronics’ Micro400 SP battery analyzer for all battery warranty decisions. As part of the rollout, every dealer will receive a tester.
According to Midtronics President and CEO, Steve McShane, “Becoming an essential tool for battery service in Mexico is a great first step in our relationship with Volkswagen.” He added, “The program benefits for the dealers and Volkswagen will help expand this program around the world.”
