 | Willowbrook, IL – July 1, 2001: Midtronics today announced an agreement with the Opel/Vauxhall organization to supply new custom battery analyzers for a battery warranty management program scheduled to begin later this year.
This new program requires the use of the Micro411/Kent Moore KM-J-42000-EU digital battery analyzer in all battery warranty decisions and provides the Opel/Vauxhall organization with a management process aimed at improving customer service and reducing warranty expense. The Micro411 is a custom developed tester for Opel/Vauxhall based on a 1999 program with General Motors where Midtronics supplied the Kent Moore J42000 digital battery analyzer as an essential tool to General Motors' dealers in the United States and Canada.
According to Midtronics b.v. Managing Director, Wim Koster, “The Opel/Vauxhall order is the direct result of a strong partnership between our two companies beginning with the General Motors program and now continuing in Europe.” Wim Koster added, “This program will provide the opportunity for tremendous financial and service benefits for both the Opel/Vauxhall organization and their dealers.”
