The December 2003 issue of Automotive Engineering International, published by SAE International, cites the Midtronics inGEN EV battery monitoring unit as a “Top Product of the Year” (2003) as determined by the magazine’s readers. The inGEN EV unit is honored along with nineteen other automotive products and technologies that have made a significant impact in the industry.
Similarly, the January 2004 Batteries International Magazine includes an interview with Midtronics founder, President and CEO Steve McShane. The interview, entitled “Changing the Game,” discusses Midtronics progress from the first electronic battery tester to the latest cutting-edge battery management technologies being developed by the company.
