|
 | How do I know if the printer batteries are being charged? | | | When you plug in the printer charger, the printer’s green LED will flash approximately once per second while the batteries are charging. To achieve the best results, charge the batteries with the printer OFF. |
|
 | How can I make my printer batteries last longer? | | To extend battery life keep the charger plugged in at all times and turn the printer OFF at the end of the day so it will recharge overnight.
The printer uses rechargeable batteries, so it will function when not plugged in. However, once the batteries are discharged, they require about four hours charge to function properly.
The printer comes with a charger that is NOT A POWER SUPPLY. If the charger batteries become discharged, they must be charged before the printer will work correctly. Printer will not function properly by just plugging into outlet unless batteries are charged prior to use. |

 | Does the printer need replacement ink when print becomes too light to read? | | No. The printer is a thermal printer and does not require ink. If the print becomes light it is most likely an indication the batteries require charging. If charging does not solve the problem the batteries may need to be replaced.
Use the recommended 1.2V Ni-MH 1600mAh-2200mAh AA – rechargeable batteries only. Using standard AA, alkaline AA, or Ni-CAD AA will damage the printer, leak, or create a fire hazard. Please only use rechargable batteries. |
