 | Willowbrook, IL. - September 14, 2000: The recent Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) and Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association’s (AMRA) 2000 Summer Member Session was hosted by Midtronics, Inc. and Lenco. The meeting was another step forward for both the industry and consumer toward meeting their common goals.
AMRA/MAP was formed by a group of automotive repair and service companies that desired to improve the image and reputation of the automotive industry. The organization consists of a network of more than 100 of the most commonly recognized names in the automotive maintenance and service industry and their suppliers. MAP has successfully responded to a need for the industry to collaborate on developing a series of Uniform Inspection and Communication Standards.
