  • Immobilizer Test: Ensure the vehicle is unable to move unexpectedly.
  • Insulation Resistance Test: Ensuring there is no breakdown in the insulation of the charge circuit of the vehicle, which could result in high-voltage shock.  
  • Equipotential Ground Bonding Test: Inadequate grounding can lead to erratic system behavior, increased shock risk, or improper functioning of safety mechanisms.
  • AC Touch Current Test: Verify that vehicle protections prevent AC leakage current from faulty EVSE, reducing the risk of electric shock.
